Baseon (Sderot, 15/12/05) of the Nepcon Manufacturing Technologies Group, has been recognized as an authorized supplier to the Israeli Department of Defense, therefore will be incorporated in various projects.

The company specializes in building large constructions and precise chassis. According to Shlomi Bar-On, CEO of Baseon, the company could now benefit from various benefits provided to companies located in development areas.

Baseon has broadened its factory grounds to facilitate 4,000 sqm along with reinforcing its CNC layout to adapt to the needs of its tremendous growth in activity since its establishment in 2003. According to Baseon's CEO, Shlomi Bar-On, the company will continue to invest in its manufacturing technologies including welding robotics, which may place Baseon as the main player in the industry using such technologies. This investment is required in order to satisfy its customer needs for precise and high-quality welding.

The company is currently undergoing a high increase in its work-load, serving a variety of respected companies from the high-tech and electronic industries, such as: HP-Scitex Vision, Orbotech, Elscint, Nur Macroprints, Elisra and Rafael.
