Nepcon Manufacturing Technologies expanded its factory grounds in Yavne's industrial area. The company rented an additional 1,400 sqm in a building located next to its current location, which is intended for storage and warehouse uses of Nepcon's Systems Division.

This new expansion is a result of the company's rapid increase in activities and growing need for additional assembly and storage grounds. Nepcon's total factory grounds including Yavne and Sderot currently amounts to 18,000 sqm. This expansion project in part of an overall material handling project the company is running in cooperation with Aviv Consultants & Engineering.

"The manufacturing and assembly grounds were expanded in order to comply with the advanced DFT (Demand Flow Technology) work methods, which require specific assembly and storage space allocations", said Shimon Cohen, Nepcon's CEO. This move also complies with the general company intention to provide complete Turn Key solutions to its customers, a business strategy which has proven itself, and had assisted in the increase of manufacturing work load during the past six years.
